"Hladnik rock labyrinth"

"Hladnik Rock Labyrinth" is a wide but nevertheless mighty gorge facing the Julian Alps. Through the gorge leads a path that requires the use of a lot of rope handling techniques for traversing and conquering the gorge.

The gorge is entered with attractive rappel descent. The descent is followed by climbing through a hole made by water flow in the centuries of its path through the gorge. If you find climbing through the hole too challenging, we can take the hanging ladder beside it.

Via the wooden and steel steps, the central and the wildest part of the gorge is reached. Here we climb on the bank of the gorge, using a hanging ladder. It is 9 meters high and suspended on wire cables.

On the top we use the wire and drop back to the gorge with the Tyrolean traverse technique. Traverse is 30 meters long and on the highest part 15 meters high.

This is followed by two parts of the path which strongly resemble the ‘'via ferrate'' in the Dolomite Alps.

From one activity to the other, the climbing is tranquil yet exciting and reveals the otherwise hidden gorge formations that water has made through the centuries.

Throughout our trip we can see Julian Alps on one side and the wild gorge which we are traversing through, on the other.

To climb through the gorge and back down will take us around 3 hours. You only need high and propper walking boots, we provide everything else for you.

The price is 75€ and it includes transfer, equipment rental and professional guiding.
